Submit a plan with all the facts &amp; figures so it can be scored. Stop with the speeches and actually work. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2- &lt;strong&gt;Pass the Bill Now.&lt;/strong&gt; Stop telling Congress to pass something that they haven't seen.  They don't even know the facts/figures regarding the cost. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3- &lt;strong&gt;Small Business Hiring Credit &lt;/strong&gt;- Do Liberals think Small Business Owners are idiots? Small Biz Owners aren't looking for hiring credits they are looking for long-term commitments on tax rates, which is something Obama is currently talking about raising. Say the hiring credit is $6k per new hire - the small business owner incurs roughly 20% burden on top of the salary for each employee they have on their payroll. That means if you are an employee making $50k annually it costs the business the $50k in salary to you and another $10k in burden (taxes, benefits, SS, etc.). Even with Obama's $6k credit the employer is still out $4k that year and will continue to have to pay that employees salary going forward. Not to mention the additional cost of Obamacare that will cripple small to mid-sized organizations. Then Liberals wonder why businesses are sitting on cash. They have to pay for all your tax increases and OBAMACARE! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4- &lt;strong&gt;Raising Taxes:&lt;/strong&gt;  Because of Sub-chapter S Corporations, Small Business owners are impacted by these 'tax increases on the wealthy'.  When Liberals talk about raising taxes, it is actually on the very people they want to give a break to. How does that make sense? It simply doesn't make any sense, at all. It is nothing but preying on the fact that the Liberal base refuses to wake up and learn how business works. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5- &lt;strong&gt;Warren Buffet Reference:&lt;/strong&gt; Warren Buffet is comparing what he pays in Capital Gains tax to what his secretary pays in Income Tax. Apples &amp; Oranges. It is a shame that Obama and Liberals choose to mis-inform the public.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6- &lt;strong&gt;Infrastructure:&lt;/strong&gt; Have you forgotten about the $1 TRILLION stimulus that did NOTHING to Stimulate the economy? It just added $1 Trillion to the debt + interest. And you Liberals want more? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7- &lt;strong&gt;Constitution: &lt;/strong&gt; Obama shouldn't be allowed to mention the Constitution because he has done nothing but ignore it! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;8- &lt;strong&gt;More Jobs stamped with MADE IN USA:&lt;/strong&gt; Yet the CEO of GE is seated by the 1st Lady as a special guest of the administration, all the while, GE just outsourced two divisions of manufacturing to China. Not to mention, GE made BILLIONS in profits and paid ZERO in taxes. ZERO! And he's a guest of the administration. Then the FBI raided Gibson Guitar in Nashville, TN. Gibson just happens to a Republican leaning Corporations that is 100% Made in America. With Liberals calling for taxing the rich and their so called idea of shared sacrifice, Francisco's Money Speech is an amazing dialogue to remember. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Liberals I hope you read the speech because you need to hear it more now than ever! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;Rearden heard Bertram Scudder, outside the group, say to a girl who made some sound of indignation, "Don't let him disturb you. You know, money is the root of all evil –and he's the typical product of money." &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Rearden did not think that Francisco could have heard it, but he saw Francisco turning to them with a gravely courteous smile. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"So you think that money is the root of all evil?" said Francisco d'Aconia. "Have you ever asked what is the root of money? Money is a tool of exchange, which can't exist unless there are goods produced and men able to produce them. Money is the material shape of the principle that men who wish to deal with one another must deal by trade and give value for value. Money is not the tool of the moochers, who claim your product by tears, or of the looters, who take it from you by force. Money is made possible only by the men who produce. Is this what you consider evil? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"When you accept money in payment for your effort, you do so only on the conviction that you will exchange it for the product of the effort of others. It is not the moochers or the looters who give value to money. Not an ocean of tears nor all the guns in the world can transform those pieces of paper in your wallet into the bread you will need to survive tomorrow. Those pieces of paper, which should have been gold, are a token of honor – your claim upon the energy of the men who produce. Your wallet is your statement of hope that somewhere in the world around you there are men who will not default on that moral principle which is the root of money. Take a look at an electric generator and dare tell yourself that it was created by the muscular effort of unthinking brutes. Try to grow a seed of wheat without the knowledge left to you by men who had to discover it for the first time. Try to obtain your food by means of nothing but physical motions – and you'll learn that man's mind is the root of all the goods produced and of all the wealth that has ever existed on earth. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"But you say that money is made by the strong at the expense of the weak? What strength do you mean? It is not the strength of guns or muscles. Wealth is the product of man's capacity to think. Then is money made by the man who invents a motor at the expense of those who did not invent it? Is money made by the intelligent at the expense of the fools? By the able at the expense of the incompetent? By the ambitious at the expense of the lazy? Money is made – before it can be looted or mooched – made by the effort of every honest man, each to the extent of his ability. An honest man is one who knows that he can't consume more than he has produced. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"To trade by means of money is the code of the men of good will. Money rests on the axiom that every man is the owner of his mind and his effort. Money allows no power to prescribe the value of your effort except by the voluntary choice of the man who is willing to trade you his effort in return. Money permits you to obtain for your goods and your labor that which they are worth to the men who buy them, but no more. Money permits no deals except those to mutual benefit by the unforced judgment of the traders. Money demands of you the recognition that men must work for their own benefit, not for their own injury, for their gain, not their loss – the recognition that they are not beasts of burden, born to carry the weight of your misery – that you must offer them values, not wounds – that the common bond among men is not the exchange of suffering, but the exchange of goods. Money demands that you sell, not your weakness to men's stupidity, but your talent to their reason; it demands that you buy, not the shoddiest they offer, but the best your money can find. And when men live by trade – with reason, not force, as their final arbiter – it is the best product that wins, the best performance, then man of best judgment and highest ability – and the degree of a man's productiveness is the degree of his reward. This is the code of existence whose tool and symbol is money. Is this what you consider evil? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"But money is only a tool. It will take you wherever you wish, but it will not replace you as the driver. It will give you the means for the satisfaction of your desires, but it will not provide you with desires. Money is the scourge of the men who attempt to reverse the law of causality – the men who seek to replace the mind by seizing the products of the mind. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Money will not purchase happiness for the man who has no concept of what he wants; money will not give him a code of values, if he's evaded the knowledge of what to value, and it will not provide him with a purpose, if he's evaded the choice of what to seek. Money will not buy intelligence for the fool, or admiration for the coward, or respect for the incompetent. The man who attempts to purchase the brains of his superiors to serve him, with his money replacing his judgment, ends up by becoming the victim of his inferiors. The men of intelligence desert him, but the cheats and the frauds come flocking to him, drawn by a law which he has not discovered: that no man may be smaller than his money. Is this the reason why you call it evil? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Only the man who does not need it, is fit to inherit wealth – the man who would make his own fortune no matter where he started. If an heir is equal to his money, it serves him; if not, it destroys him. But you look on and you cry that money corrupted him. Did it? Or did he corrupt his money? Do not envy a worthless heir; his wealth is not yours and you would have done no better with it. Do not think that it should have been distributed among you; loading the world with fifty parasites instead of one would not bring back the dead virtue which was the fortune. Money is a living power that dies without its root. Money will not serve that mind that cannot match it. Is this the reason why you call it evil? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Money is your means of survival. The verdict which you pronounce upon the source of your livelihood is the verdict you pronounce upon your life. If the source is corrupt, you have damned your own existence. Did you get your money by fraud? By pandering to men's vices or men's stupidity? By catering to fools, in the hope of getting more than your ability deserves? By lowering your standards? By doing work you despise for purchasers you scorn? If so, then your money will not give you a moment's or a penny's worth of joy. Then all the things you buy will become, not a tribute to you, but a reproach; not an achievement, but a reminder of shame. Then you'll scream that money is evil. Evil, because it would not pinch-hit for your self-respect? Evil, because it would not let you enjoy your depravity? Is this the root of your hatred of money? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Money will always remain an effect and refuse to replace you as the cause. Money is the product of virtue, but it will not give you virtue and it will not redeem your vices. Money will not give you the unearned, neither in matter nor in spirit. Is this the root of your hatred of money? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Or did you say it's the love of money that's the root of all evil? To love a thing is to know and love its nature. To love money is to know and love the fact that money is the creation of the best power within you, and your passkey to trade your effort for the effort of the best among men. It's the person who would sell his soul for a nickel, who is the loudest in proclaiming his hatred of money – and he has good reason to hate it. The lovers of money are willing to work for it. They know they are able to deserve it. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Let me give you a tip on a clue to men's characters: the man who damns money has obtained it dishonorably; the man who respects it has earned it. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Run for your life from any man who tells you that money is evil. That sentence is the leper's bell of an approaching looter. So long as men live together on earth and need means to deal with one another – their only substitute, if they abandon money, is the muzzle of a gun. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"But money demands of you the highest virtues, if you wish to make it or to keep it. Men who have no courage, pride, or self-esteem, men who have no moral sense of their right to their money and are not willing to defend it as they defend their life, men who apologize for being rich – will not remain rich for long. They are the natural bait for the swarms of looters that stay under rocks for centuries, but come crawling out at the first smell of a man who begs to be forgiven for the guilt of owning wealth. They will hasten to relieve him of the guilt – and of his life, as he deserves. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Then you will see the rise of the double standard – the men who live by force, yet count on those who live by trade to create the value of their looted money – the men who are the hitchhikers of virtue. In a moral society, these are the criminals, and the statutes are written to protect you against them. But when a society establishes criminals-by-right and looters-by-law – men who use force to seize the wealth of disarmed victims – then money becomes its creators' avenger. Such looters believe it safe to rob defenseless men, once they've passed a law to disarm them. But their loot becomes the magnet for other looters, who get it from them as they got it. Then the race goes, not to the ablest at production, but to those most ruthless at brutality. When force is the standard, the murderer wins over the pickpocket. And then that society vanishes, in a spread of ruins and slaughter. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Do you wish to know whether that day is coming? Watch money. Money is the barometer of a society's virtue. When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion – when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing – when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors – when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you – when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice – you may know that your society is doomed. Money is so noble a medium that it does not compete with guns and it does not make terms with brutality. It will not permit a country to survive as half-property, half-loot. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"Whenever destroyers appear among men, they start by destroying money, for money is men's protection and the base of a moral existence. Destroyers seize gold and leave to its owners a counterfeit pile of paper. This kills all objective standards and delivers men into the arbitrary power of an arbitrary setter of values. Gold was an objective value, an equivalent of wealth produced. Paper is a mortgage on wealth that does not exist, backed by a gun aimed at those who are expected to produce it. Paper is a check drawn by legal looters upon an account which is not theirs: upon the virtue of the victims. Watch for the day when it becomes, marked: 'Account overdrawn.' &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"When you have made evil the means of survival, do not expect men to remain good. Do not expect them to stay moral and lose their lives for the purpose of becoming the fodder of the immoral. Do not expect them to produce, when production is punished and looting rewarded. Do not ask, 'Who is destroying the world?' You are. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"You stand in the midst of the greatest achievements of the greatest productive civilization and you wonder why it's crumbling around you, while you're damning its life-blood – money. You look upon money as the savages did before you, and you wonder why the jungle is creeping back to the edge of your cities. Throughout men's history, money was always seized by looters of one brand or another, but whose method remained the same: to seize wealth by force and to keep the producers bound, demeaned, defamed, deprived of honor. That phrase about the evil of money, which you mouth with such righteous recklessness, comes from a time when wealth was produced by the labor of slaves – slaves who repeated the motions once discovered by somebody's mind and left unimproved for centuries. So long as production was ruled by force, and wealth was obtained by conquest, there was little to conquer. Yet through all the centuries of stagnation and starvation, men exalted the looters, as aristocrats of the sword, as aristocrats of birth, as aristocrats of the bureau, and despised the producers, as slaves, as traders, as shopkeepers – as industrialists. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"To the glory of mankind, there was, for the first and only time in history, a country of money – and I have no higher, more reverent tribute to pay to America, for this means: a country of reason, justice, freedom, production, achievement. For the first time, man's mind and money were set free, and there were no fortunes-by-conquest, but only fortunes-by-work, and instead of swordsmen and slaves, there appeared the real maker of wealth, the greatest worker, the highest type of human being – the self-made man – the American industrialist. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"If you ask me to name the proudest distinction of Americans, I would choose – because it contains all the others – the fact that they were the people who created the phrase 'to make money'. No other language or nation had ever used these words before; men had always thought of wealth as a static quantity – to be seized, begged, inherited, shared, looted, or obtained as a favor. Americans were the first to understand that wealth has to be created. Have you ever looked at the person sitting next to you and wondered what they are thinking? As I'm about to lean over and ask the college student her thoughts, she packs up her North Face backpack, smiles, and walks out the door back into the world. Alas, to ask another day. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We're broke. It's a fact. And the beauty of a fact is there's truth behind it, and to hide from the truth is difficult. With a $14 Trillion dollar National Debt and a Government that refuses to stop spending, the outlook for America is grim. Tough choices have to be made. Choices that should have been made years, maybe even decades, ago to correct the spending habits of both parties. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This past week the Obama Administration released their &lt;a href="http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/omb/budget/fy2012/assets/budget.pdf"&gt;FY2012 Budget&lt;/a&gt;. O's budget is 216 pages of increases in spending and taxes. The &lt;a href="http://www.cato.org/pub_display.php?pub_id=12786"&gt;Cato Institute analyzed the impact of O's Budget&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The impacts are almost unimaginable:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;- Total Budget = $3.7 Trillion Dollars in spending&lt;br /&gt;- Increasing this year's deficit to $1.65 Trillion&lt;br /&gt;- Adds $13 Trillion to the Deficit over the next decade. &lt;br /&gt;- By 2020 the Debt will be at or above 100% of GDP&lt;br /&gt;- Taxes increases of $1.6 Trillion over the next decade&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;* Stats taken from the above Cato Institute article&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Republicans aren't offering much better, so don't even get your hopes up. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As difficult as it might be to do, look past the numbers, and look to what this tells us about today's leadership. We don't have any--at least at the Federal level. But there are glimmers of hope and change, pun intended, at the State level with the new and established Governors. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Governors Walker &amp; Christie are new on the scene and focused on their State's fiscal health. Just this past week Walker's budget has caused protests and outrage within the state of Wisconsin. Christie has quickly become the model for tough, honest Republican rhetoric. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Many of us have been ready for this revolution. We've seen the writing on the wall for some time, but are we a majority yet? Then a few weeks ago I found myself faced with having to really think about what we are doing today &amp;amp; what people (not history) PEOPLE LIKE OURSELVES will say about us.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'd been asked to write a letter for a "time capsule" which would be opened 100 yrs. from now. The occasion will be the Los Angeles Bicentennial &amp;amp; of course our countries tri-centennial. It was suggested that I mention some of the problems confronting us in this election year. Since I've been talking about those problems for some 9 months that didn't look like too much of a chore.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So riding down the coast highway from Santa Barbara - yellow tablet on my lap (someone else was driving) I started to write my letter to the future.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It was a beautiful summer afternoon. The Pacific stretched out to the horizon on one side of the highway and on the other the Santa Ynez mountains were etched against a sky as blue as the Ocean.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I found my self wondering if it would look the same 100 yrs. from now. Will there still be a coast highway? Will people still be traveling in automobiles, or will the be looking down at the mountains from aircraft or moving so fast the beauty of all this would be lost?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Suddenly the simple drafting of a letter became a rather complex chore. Think about it for a minute. What do you put in a letter that's going to be read 100 yrs. from now -- in the year 2076? What do you say about our problems when those who read the letter will know what we don't  know -- namely how well we did with those problems? In short they will be living in the would we helped to shape.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Will they read the letter with gratitude in their hearts for what we did or will they be bitter because the heritage we left them was one of human misery?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh I wrote of the problems we face here in 1976 -- The choice we face between continuing the policies of the last 40 yrs. that have led to bigger &amp;amp; bigger govt, less &amp;amp; less liberty, redistribution of earnings through confiscatory taxation or trying to get back on the original course set for us by the Founding Fathers. Will we choose fiscal responsibility, limited govt, and freedom of choice for all our people? Or will we let an irresponsible Congress set us on the road our English cousins have already taken? The road to economic ruin and state control of our very lives?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On the international scene two great superpowers face each other with nuclear missiles at the ready --poised to bring Armageddon to the world.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Those who read my letter will know whether those missiles were fired or not. Either they will be surrounded by the same beauty we know or they will wonder sadly what it was like when the world was still beautiful. If we here today meet the challenge confronting us, -- those who open that time capsule 100 yrs. from now will do so in beauty, peace, prosperity and the ultimate personal freedom. This letter isn't targeted (figuratively speaking) at any one Liberal. So here it goes....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;************************************************&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dear Left-Wing, Liberal, Progressive People:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Are you pissed that a majority of Americans disagree with you, or that we have the audacity to do it with fearless passion?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Using the AZ shooting to assign blame to Sarah Palin, Glen Beck, FoxNews, Rush, and everyday Americans that are members of the Tea Party is outrageous. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When US Army Major, Nida Malik Hasan, committed an act of Terrorism by opening fire on the waiting room at Fort Hood, you refused to call Nida Malik Hasan, a Muslim Terrorist, or call what he did an Act of Terrorism. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Why? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You have no problem calling everyday Americans murders, racists, bigots, plain spoken, and unintelligent, then you even chuckle, as if you are of higher intelligence, but calling Hasan a Muslim Terrorist is offensive? Funny how that works. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You go to great lengths to brand your ideology as pro-individual rights, pro-individualism, and progressive. Yet everything you do is exactly the opposite. Liberalism does nothing to advance Freedom, and freedom is where one finds rights, individualism, and the ability to progress. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Most of your attacks are disguised within some movement or buzz word that evokes emotion. Logic be damned.  Take race, for example. You feel like you own everything around race.  The same goes for the poor and minorities. Yet your actions keep the poor, poor, and keep minorities down.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Take illegal immigration - this example covers race, the poor, and minorities. FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform) estimates that the US is spending $113 billion dollars at the federal, state, and local level on Illegal Immigration. That is over $1000 per native household in the US. Of the $113 Billion tab, $52 billion is within our education system. Click &lt;a href="http://www.fairus.org/site/News2/977633106?page=NewsArticle&amp;id=23190&amp;security=1601&amp;news_iv_ctrl=1761"&gt;Here&lt;/a&gt; to read all the sobering statics on Illegal Immigration. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Border states have felt the impact for years, from hospital emergency rooms along the US/Mexico border closing to the Drug Cartel causing unspeakable violence against innocent Americans.  Immigration and border enforcement are Federal issues. Since the Federal Government has turned a blind eye to this issue, in both Republican and Democrat administrations, the state of AZ recently passed legislation in order to enforce Federal law in an attempt to control the border. Instead of this being a wake up call to the Obama Administration, Eric Holder, the Attorney General, sued the State of AZ.  The federal government decided to leave the law breaking illegal immigrants alone and go after the State of AZ.  Don't you think that causes a hostile environment? &lt;br /&gt;Ironic, isn't it, the very politicians and leftist media that scream that the AZ law is racist, are the 1st to point blame at the Right for the shooting a few weeks ago.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Americans are hostile, we are furious, and we have every right to be. You just don't want to hear it because it wasn't supposed to be this way under the reign of your dear savior, Obama, was it? He was going to unite us, but we are more divided than ever. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You want to convenience the American public that the division isn't over your Socialist agenda, but the words of crazy right wing leaders and talk radio.  So much so, that some of the Left supports the reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine in hopes to shut up the Right. The Left doesn't oppose the government funding of NPR. Hypocritical are we?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let me end with this. Following the shooting in AZ, the Left &amp; the Right should have released a joint statement. That joint statement should have simply said, &lt;br /&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;"Dear Families and Citizens of Arizona that were impacted today by the violent act of one mentally ill individual. Your Country stands beside you. You are all being lifted up in our thoughts and prayers. We will do everything in our power to honor the memory of those you lost, and help you rebuild. &lt;br /&gt;Sincerely, Your Fellow Americans"&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Instead within 2 hours the attacks started and have continued. All the evidence proves that Jared Loughner was mentally unstable and acted alone. He isn't the member of any group, a-political, and really lived in own self-made world. The attacks on the Right have grown to include possible legislation that would limit the 1st Amendment. You continually sight the use of metaphors and imagery as reasons for hostility and violence. Do any of you really think a metaphor leads someone to kill? If so then let's be sure to ban Shakespeare from schools, because it is full of violent metaphors and imagery. Didn't Shakespeare first coin the word 'assassination' in Macbeth? With your logic we should destroy all those wonderful words since we dare not use any words except for in their literal meaning. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Freedom of Speech is the 1st Amendment because it is the most important Amendment. Little did she know that a jog in a local park would end in her death.  Amber DuBois was a 14-year old FFA (Future Farmers of America) member on her way to purchase a new lamb. She didn’t know that February 13, 2009 would be the day she was killed.  The common denominator between Chelsea and Amber is their confessed rapist and killer John Gardner. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This wasn’t Gardner’s first offense. In 2000, Gardner plead guilty to punching a young girl in the face and fondling her. He served 5 years of a 6-year sentence and was released on parole in 2005.  Gardner was on parole until 2008, but during that time violated his parole multiple times. Those violations included living too close to a school, suspected marijuana possession, and numerous failures to charge his ankle tracking devise. Any of the violations could have easily placed Gardner back in prison, but he was continually passed through the system.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since pleading guilty to the rape and murder of both Dubois and King, politicians and Chelsea King’s family are sponsoring a new law named ‘Chelsea’s Law’, in hopes to keep this type of tragedy from happening to other young ladies. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My husband and I don’t have children yet, but want to one day. I can’t, and won’t begin to say that I understand what the Dubois and King families feel right now. If my daughter had been raped, beaten, and murdered – I'd probably be on trial for murder for killing the bastard myself. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Still, if my daughter had been murdered I wouldn’t want a bill named after her. Not because I wouldn’t want a strong piece of legislation to protect other young women, or because I wouldn’t want her memory to be alive and her name spoken for years to come. But why have a law enacted in her memory when so many other similar laws are named after their victims?  We have Megan’s Law, Dru’s Law, Jessica’s Law, and Polly’s law just to name a few – but the system still failed Amber and Chelsea because these laws are rarely actually enforced.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This problem is prevalent throughout our legal system. Look at Arizona, the state finally had enough and adopted a state law to combat the failure of the Federal Government to enforce legal immigration laws. The federal law is clear on immigration, and many legal immigrants follow the federal immigration policy and come into the United States daily. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But, the Federal Government has turned a blind eye to the border issue with Mexico. Politicians campaign on border security only to do absolutely nothing. Border towns are being destroyed by Drug Cartels, and just recently a Rancher in AZ was gunned down on his own property. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yet all politicians do is talk about writing a new, tougher piece of legislation. A piece of legislation that strengthens our Country while being fair to illegal immigrants -you know the illegals that have broken federal law. Maybe if I stop paying taxes the federal gov’t will give me a break, too. Oh, wait. I’m actually a legal citizen. Guess I should bend over and take another one for the team.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let me make a public service announcement and inform the Senators and Congressmen of one thing. The American people lost our faith in you a long time ago. We see through your smoke and mirrors, and know that you are a group of people that create laws for the sake of creation – without any intention of enforcement. Last week &lt;a href="http://energycommerce.house.gov/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=1944:energy-a-commerce-subcommittee-to-hold-hearing-on-impact-of-health-care-reform-law-on-large-employers&amp;catid=122:media-advisories&amp;Itemid=55"&gt;Rep. Waxman &amp; Rep. Stupak&lt;/a&gt; sent official letters to the CEO &amp; Presidents of &lt;a href="http://energycommerce.house.gov/Press_111/20100326/Allen.Letter.pdf"&gt;John Deere&lt;/a&gt;,&lt;a href="http://energycommerce.house.gov/Press_111/20100326/Stephenson.Letter.pdf"&gt; AT&amp;T&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://energycommerce.house.gov/Press_111/20100326/Seidenberg.Letter.pdf"&gt;Verizon&lt;/a&gt;, and &lt;a href="http://energycommerce.house.gov/Press_111/20100326/Owens.Letter.pdf"&gt;Caterpillar&lt;/a&gt;. These letters were not invites to the next roundtable or a heads-up about a golf game, these letters were summons to the Hill.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Rep. Waxman and other liberals have accused these corporations of speaking out with political motives. But, any semi-business savvy individual understands why CAT, AT&amp;T, John Deere, and other companies opened the dialogue around the tremendous costs surrounding the bill. On a quarterly basis all publicly traded companies are required to file SEC reports and within those reports are details surrounding the financial health of the corporation. Since the new healthcare law changes the tax structure surrounding Medicare subsidies, many corporations are incurring additional expenses within the 1st quarter.  Yes, those costs are significant and will change the cost of healthcare plans companies offer to employees. As a result, consumers will see increases to the cost of goods and services offered by these companies. The CEOs of these large organizations answer to the shareholders, and will find a way to recoup this cost, plain and simple. This has nothing to do with politics. Publicly traded corporations complying with SEC requirements that are, the last time I checked, mandated by the same government summoning these companies to the Hill. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So what's next?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let's face it, Americans have a short attention span, and Progressives believe that most Americans will forget about the socialist healthcare bill before the November elections. That's why the bill was pushed through; because, the Progressives needed time--time for Americans to forget.  This explains why, during a recession, the Obama administration focused on Healthcare, not jobs.    &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Conservatives need to have a 2 Point Plan in order to combat this Progressive agenda. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Point 1&lt;/span&gt;: Don't forget about Healthcare. At every meeting, rally and with every correspondence remind Conservatives that this Healthcare law is one huge step toward socialism. Encourage open dialogue and don't allow the momentum to dwindle. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Point 2&lt;/span&gt;: Don't forget there is more to come.  The healthcare law was step 1 in the Progressive agenda. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Next on the agenda is Immigration Reform which is simply, Amnesty. No one actually knows how many illegal immigrants are in America. Estimates run from 11 million to 30 million, neither number is reassuring. This is key to the Progressive movement. First, it secures a minimum of 11 million additions to the liberal voting base. Immigration reform is nothing but a numbers game for Progressives. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Following Immigration, watch out for either a National Sales Tax or implementation of VAT (value added tax). Either is needed to pay for the healthcare law and illegal immigration. In a thriving economy, both are a horrible idea. But in a struggling economy, both are suicide.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is our time! The majority of Americans are frustrated, confused and looking for a sane voice. I did not refer to the US Government as a &lt;a href="https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/us.html"&gt;Constitution-based federal republic with strong democratic traditions &lt;/a&gt;, which is how the CIA categorizes it, not because I want to mislead people or because I don't understand the type of government we have, but because most readers refer to the US as a "democracy", not a "Constitution-based federal republic with strong democratic traditions".  Also, most people do not refer to the US as a "representative democracy" we simply say, "Democracy". Since a democracy is a government by the people with freedoms that are secured through the constitution - when I said, "Progressives really think that the battle is won, and that the democracy we flourish in is over." I was implying that under the current bill, which I feel is part of a Progressive agenda, the 'democracy' granted to us by the constitution is being threatened. I wasn't trying to say that we are going from a Democracy to Socialism in terms of form of government.  Since the word 'Democracy' is thrown around freely, and since America is Capitalistic (some would argue that point and to what degree we are capitalistic, but that is another can of worms) I assumed, shame on me, that it was implied that I was referring to the replacement of capitalistic with socialistic economic measures.    &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Democracy, or a Constitution-based federal republic with strong democratic traditions (CBFRSDT, for short), didn't happen over night. Socialism won't happen over night either. It is also a process. Many Conservatives feel that this Healthcare Law is a huge step down that path. In 2007, Obama said,&lt;blockquote&gt;It is my belief that not just politically but also economically, it’s better for us to start getting a system in place—a universal health care system—signed into law by the end of my first term as president and build off that system to further—to make it more rational—by the way, Canada did not start off immediately with a single-payer system. They had a similar transition step.&lt;/blockquote&gt; The Obama administration passed this bill because they needed a foundation to 'build off'. Clearly it didn't matter what was in the bill. Pelosi said,  &lt;blockquote&gt;we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it&lt;/blockquote&gt; I mean, really? This bill, I mean law, has nothing to do with improving healthcare or cutting cost! It was only a step.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If that isn't enough, the &lt;a href="http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Gap-in-health-care-laws-apf-4272209396.html?x=0&amp;.v=1"&gt;law does NOT cover children with pre-existing conditions.&lt;/a&gt; They all thought it did, but I guess that's what happens when not a damn soul reads the bill.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You mentioned that, &lt;blockquote&gt;Wanting government regulated health insurance isn't socialism. So you are purchasing healthcare coverage from the gov't, which makes it gov't owned, not gov't regulated. That sounds Socialistic to me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now to Car Insurance vs. Health Insurance. One, you don't have to drive a car. When you drive a car it is on a public street, and in order to drive you have to obtain a driver's license.  If you don't want to drive, then don't - but guess what? If you decide not to drive, you aren't fined. You are FREE to make that choice. And that is the difference!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Any form of Nationalization is a step toward Socialism, and with this Healthcare Law the government is now controlling part of the distribution and production within the healthcare market. And if being ignored wasn't enough, those very 'Representatives' responded by telling the People that they know what's best for them.  Then, adding insult to injury, the Speaker of the House was boasting and laughing on the House Floor before the final vote.  The arrogance was sickening. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let me clear up a few items before I go into what I think Healthcare reform means to true Conservatives.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To answer your first question, "You really, honestly in your heart think that Progressives want to end democracy?" My answer is, Yes. I'm actually surprised you don't. There is currently a book in circulation authored by Richard Creamer titled, "Listen to Your Mother, Stand Up Straight - How Progressives Can Win." A very interesting part of the book is the '10 point plan for the Progressive Agenda for Structural Change." Below are steps 1-3, and it must be a coincidence that all 3 pertain to Healthcare Reform. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;1.“We must create a national consensus that health care is a right, not a commodity; and that government must guarantee that right.” &lt;br /&gt;2.“We must create a national consensus that the health care system is in crisis.” &lt;br /&gt;3.“Our messaging program over the next two years should focus heavily on reducing the credibility of the health insurance industry and focusing on the failure of private health insurance.” &lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I know, I know the next step in your argument is -'not all Progressives think this", but don't you? The Progressive agenda is designed to take America toward Socialism, plain and simple. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now Healthcare Reform. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Conservatives do a poor job of articulating their position on Healthcare Reform. Yes, reform is needed. Most Americans do not think that Insurance Companies should exclude individuals with pre-existing conditions and no-one in the mist of a medical crisis should lose their coverage. But that doesn't take a 2700 page bill to change, nor does it require the Government take-over of 1/6 of the economy. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In order to reduce cost, you need competition--drop the state-to-state barriers and allow the American Public to be consumers. We will decide what is best for our situation. Healthcare is personal, and no two Americans are alike or need the same coverage. So, let us purchase what is best for our needs.  De-regulate the barriers and watch the prices go down! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We ask Doctors to save us. We put our lives in their hands, yet we allow un-godly lawsuits to be filed against them. Why?  If the Government wants to regulate an area - then place controls here. Funny how the government has no issue controlling the People, but refuses to consider placing controls around malpractice suits.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is the first time in our history that the government is forcing the people to purchase something. The choice to be uninsured has been taken off the table. After BHO signs the bill into law, I no longer have the right as an American NOT to have Health Insurance. Yes, a right is being taken away from me. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As much as the Liberals want to say Healthcare is a right, it is also a right not to have it - CHOICE is the true right that is being taken away from the People. To date, nothing has kept Americans from obtaining some form of coverage. That is a key element that most Liberals fail to acknowledge. The avenues to be insured or to have an organization pay for you medical expenses are out there. For instance, the State of California offers &lt;a href="http://www.healthyfamilies.ca.gov/Home/default.aspx"&gt;Healthy Family&lt;/a&gt; or&lt;a href="http://www.medi-cal.ca.gov/"&gt; Medi-Cal &lt;/a&gt; to families that can't afford coverage, the elderly, and individuals that have lost their jobs. It's not just California that offers coverage; numerous states offer various types of coverage :&lt;a href="http://healthinsurance.alabama.gov/unemp_unins.htm"&gt; Alabama&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.tn.gov/tenncare/tenndercare/index.html"&gt;Tennessee &lt;/a&gt;,&lt;a href="http://www.insurekidsnow.gov/"&gt;, and New York&lt;/a&gt; - just to name a few. The coverage is there, but doesn't require Federal oversight to maintain. Isn't this really a state issue to begin with? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not to mention the corruption and closed-door deals.  Why should Americans in Wyoming be forced to pay additional taxes to fund the special deal in Louisiana or Florida? Why does Pennsylvania get money for an airport in a Healthcare bill? What does anything about student loans have to do healthcare? Nothing! But all that was part of this bill.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The argument isn't whether reform is needed, but how that reform is delivered!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."&lt;/blockquote&gt; That's right! Don't just blindly sustain some one's poverty  - teach them, empower them to succeed and  give them the skills to be more. Establishing an entitlement program does nothing but keep people poor. I argue that true compassion is teaching a man to fish not giving him the fish. No Conservative wants to see someone suffer or have less.  In fact, according to &lt;a href="http://abcnews.go.com/2020/story?id=2682730&amp;page=1"&gt;ABC NEWS&lt;/a&gt;, Conservatives care a great deal for the poor:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;It turns out that this idea that liberals give more…is a myth. Of the top 25 states where people give an above average percent of their income, 24 were red states in the last presidential election. Arthur Brooks, the author of "Who Really Cares," says that "when you look at the data, it turns out the conservatives give about 30 percent more." He adds, "And incidentally, conservative-headed families make slightly less money. And he says the differences in giving goes beyond money, pointing out that conservatives are 18 percent more likely to donate blood. He says this difference is not about politics, but about the different way conservatives and liberals view government. "You find that people who believe it's the government's job to make incomes more equal, are far less likely to give their money away," Brooks says. In fact, people who disagree with the statement, "The government has a basic responsibility to take care of the people who can't take care of themselves," are 27 percent more likely to give to charity. &lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Back to my point: it's not THAT healthcare reform is delivered, it's HOW it's delivered. The Second Continental Congress convened on May 10th, 1775 in the mist of the American Revolution and crafted the document from which this country still lives, the Declaration of Independence. The Founding Fathers embodied the Patriot spirit that dwells in each American. Fast forward a few generations to World War II. The freedom of not only America, but the World, rested on the back of the United States. After the blow to Pearl Harbor, all Americans accepted the challenge and went to battle delivering the World from destruction. Most thought that the great battle of the current generation would be Terrorism, but the true battle is Progressivism. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Following September 11th, America was united! Never in my lifetime had I felt such Patriotism, but deep down I knew it would be short lived. Within two years of 9/11, the demons of our society began to creep in and take over media outlets and online blog realms. Conservatives put up little fight prior to Barack Hussein Obama's election in 2008. Maybe our faith in the system was gone or maybe our complacency took over, but either way, we lost the White House and Congress. BHO won the White House by capturing the hearts of the American Independent voter, and preaching "Hope &amp; Change".  Obama didn't campaign on any substance, but stood and spewed that he would change the current state of our Democracy, and today he has. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today, March 21st, 2010, goes down in history, not because of Universal Healthcare, but because our Country just took one huge step away from our Liberty. The Progressives in this Country won this battle because Conservatives were asleep at the wheel. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I argue that March 21st, 2010, isn't a victory for Progressives, but a call to action for America! Fellow Patriots, this battle isn't over - it has just BEGUN! Let the Progressives think they have won, but know that this battle can't be decided with one vote. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let "THE RECKONING" Begin!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Instead of ignoring our Founding Fathers' wisdom, let's reflect on the battle they won. During the debate on July 1st, 1776, Adams is quoted as saying, &lt;blockquote&gt; "Objects of the most stupendous magnitude, measures in which the lives and liberties, born and unborn are most essentially interested, are now before us. We are in the very midst of revolution, the most complete, unexpected, and remarkable of any in the history of the world"&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Progressives really think that the battle is won, and that the democracy we flourish in is over. Socialism would be an easy blow to deliver to those without freedom, but delivering it to the Republic won't happen until the last Patriot dies. If you feel defeated, broken, lost, discouraged - don't. That is what they want! Rise above, find your Rebel spirit! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Step one is to reach out. Stop being scared to be a Conservative! Tell your family members, co-workers, and neighbors how you feel and why you feel it. Those that voted in favor of this Socialist Bill will feel the wrath of the Republic. The very Constitution they hide behind will deliver their fate and the Republic we love will be reborn. It doesn't stop today, or in November. Never again will we become complacent and fail this Republic. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When you feel discouraged or without hope remember that many Patriots died for this very cause! But this, my blog friends, is a critical examination of what can only be called the largest gathering of narcissists that blindly sit together to listen to their leader spew utter nonsense.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Obama opened with the statement, &lt;blockquote&gt;"The state of our union is strong." &lt;/blockquote&gt;Really? How about this Obama: the state of our union is weak. Weak on Jobs, weak from a crushing debt, and weak because we are defenseless against terrorism. Why not tell the American people the truth? As a country we are weak and will become weaker with every step down this path.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At times I thought Obama provided glimmers of hope. Take nuclear power and off shore drilling.  &lt;blockquote&gt;"To create more of these clean energy jobs, we need more production, more efficiency, more incentives. That means building a new generation of safe, clean nuclear power plants in this country. It means making tough decisions about opening new offshore areas for oil and gas development." &lt;/blockquote&gt; I agree. That's why President Bush visited the Tennessee Valley Nuclear Plant in my hometown of Athens, AL during his term. President Bush commended the facility for being under budget and for providing affordable energy. Yes, TVA produces safe affordable energy everyday at the facilities in AL and TN.  So what's stopping us from building more Nuclear Plants. To date, Liberals have been the road block. My next thought was why aren't we drilling off shore? The utilization of US oil provided by US workers iscrucial for US security and long-term success. Obama almost sounded like  a Conservative, but in the same breath Obama said, &lt;blockquote&gt;"I am grateful to the House for passing such a bill last year. This year, I am eager to help advance the bipartisan effort in the Senate. I know there have been questions about whether we can afford such changes in a tough economy; and I know that there are those who disagree with the overwhelming scientific evidence on climate change. But even if you doubt the evidence, providing incentives for energy efficiency and clean energy are the right thing to do for our future – because the nation that leads the clean energy economy will be the nation that leads the global economy. And America must be that nation." &lt;/blockquote&gt; What? How was Obama not utterly embarrassed by the entire Climate Change debacle? First, the research is nothing but crap. Climate Change amounts to the US giving more money to 3rd world countries. This little Copenhagen venture cost the American taxpayer &lt;a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/01/25/cbsnews_investigates/main6140406.shtml"&gt;$1.1 million dollars&lt;/a&gt;.  In total roughly 106 Government officials (Senators, Congressman, Aids, and Spouses) traveled to Copenhagen. Yet nothing was signed or decided on. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How about the comment, &lt;blockquote&gt;"let’s also eliminate all capital gains taxes on small business investment; and provide a tax incentive for all businesses, large and small, to invest in new plants and equipment."&lt;/blockquote&gt;Another interesting idea from a Liberal leader, but how is that even an option when the sentence preceding this statement discusses spending $30 billion dollars of tax payer money, and, within moments, the discussion went to Healthcare reform funded by middle America and small businesses. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Besides feeling like one of the most arrogant, condescending people in the world just gave me a lecture, the speech lacked direction, consistency and overall substance with regards to a deliverable agenda. Obama mentioned nothing that is attainable. In 70 minutes Obama promised to give $30 billion to community banks, $10k to families for 4 year college plans, an extension on paying back student loans, free student loans to individuals that go into public service, healthcare reform (again), lifting the pan on gays in the military, a freeze on gov't spending, earmark reform, breaking ground on a high speed train, another jobs bill, ending all the wars, and a million other things that I missed because I was in utter shock. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All the promises came very easily to Obama. Let's face it, this isn't his first rodeo. Obama was elected on the slogan, "Hope &amp; Change" and that is one thing he has delivered on. Still so many Americans are furious with the "Hope &amp; Change" they have received because they really thought Obama was sincere and planned to govern from the middle. (INSERT LAUGH). The election of Obama will be recorded in American History as one huge lapse in judgment. Hopefully, historians will paint our current society as the divided populist it is - euphoric morons and sensible conservatives (I know wishful thinking).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The speech ended with a dramatic call to remember what America is, what ideals we represent, and an attempt to energize  Americans to rise up with the Administration and Congress for the greater good. By the end of the speech, I felt like I had been asked to bend over, grab my ankles, squeal like a pig, and then role over and be caressed by my rapist. Taxing the rich and giving to the poor won't last, won't work and has never worked. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hard work, drive, determination and a competitive nature is what has made America great. Not the notion that everything should be fair. What is fair? Who determines what fair is? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have had enough - done - put a fork in me! Today as I read all this crap about Healthcare reform - the $100 million payoff to the Louisiana Senator I decided that I might stroke. Then I thought...Why do we take this? Why do I continue to pay taxes? What if everyone that feels this way  went into Human Resources at work on Monday and filed tax exempt. We just stopped funding this. That is our RIGHT! The Gov't exists because we pay for it and as a taxpaying, hard working American I am sick of it! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Audit me - NO ONE in the Obama cabinet pays taxes, Rangel from NY doesn't pay - so why do we? The entire Tea Party movement should become - STOP PAYING TAXES PARTY! Senators and Congressman only have the money we pay to spend!! He was a handsome young man with a head full of black curls and a crooked smile. &lt;br /&gt;Shortly after basic training and the the attack on Pearl Harbor he was sent overseas. He didn't talk much about his experiences in WWII - just a comment here and there. It wasn't until his funeral that I heard this amazing story. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In a dark fox hole somewhere in the Philippines, my grandfather sat watch with his then best friend. Their job was to peer above the fox hole and follow enemy movement. In the dreary confines of this fox hole they endured something I will never experience. They decided to take turns peering above the fox hole. It was my grandfather's turn, but his best friend told him to sit back down. You see, my grandfather wasn't a tall man and had to jump up or step up on something to see over. As his friend made a joke about his height he stood and took my grandfather's shift, stuck his head above the fox hole, and almost instantly he was shot in the head. He died in my grandfather's arms.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today my thoughts and prayers are for that man and so many others. I don't know his name but I pray his soul is at peace. He sacrificed everything and if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here. Huckabee is a Southern Baptist preacher from the great state of Arkansas (I am southern so I can be sarcastic here) and I don't care how low Obama's approval rating is - Huckabee is another old white guy that isn't going to beat Obama. Huckabee is a Fair Tax guy and I like that but I don't see him winning the independent voters. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Romney is what we need because of business knowledge. With a struggling economy, what better choice than a successful business man to control spending and create jobs. But I do feel Mass's health care plan will hurt him. It isn't working and the media is going to focus on that. Romney has to start explaining the Mass's health care program before the media explains it for him. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Palin is a rock star in my book. I love strong women. But she resigned as Governor and she needed the experience. I understand the cost was crippling her family, but the liberal media is going to destroy her. Her reputation is damaged. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Gingrich is a brilliant man, but he is from the 1990s. Lets face it - Obama would beat him to. He has to many skeletons in his closet and he is going to be branded as the stereotypical Republican. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I love Rudy Giuliani. Clearly something went wrong during his 2008 campaign. Either it was just poor management or he tried to lose. Rudy also doesn't appeal to the religious right. I wonder what his future plans are...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Is there really not anyone from our party that has a fighting chance? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Obama's approval rating are continuing to drop but Americans have short attention spans. The Liberal media wants 4 more years of Obama. No matter what, 2012 is going to be a close battle. I have and they are Marines! My brother-in-law proudly served 3 tours in Iraq - Captain Adam Mathes. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At his recent wedding - finely dressed hot Marines were everywhere. Really there were only 8 in uniform, one of those being the groom, but it felt like more. This was a single woman's dream. One of those dreams that when you wake up, you roll over, and pray to fall back asleep to start dreaming again. As a happily married woman, (to an equally hot man) I stood back and watched from a gentle distance. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I haven't had the privilege of spending much time with these fine men, but have been privileged to stories about their amazing service to our Country. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now for share time. Two of those amazing Marine Officers are also amazing writers. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My brother-in-law sent numerous emails and letters home from his 3 tours in Iraq. The arrogance of Bill Burton and the rest of the Obama Administration is outrageous. The &lt;a href="http://www.archives.gov/presidential-libraries/laws/1978-act.html"&gt;Presidential Records Act&lt;/a&gt; requires all documents, communications, etc of an administration be kept for public review/analysis. Clearly our email addresses are not being deleted because of PRA. &lt;br /&gt;The real question is, why didn't Burton want to admit that the emails won't be deleted? Over the last few years, organizations like Code Pink, Moveon.org, Acorn, and Westboro Baptist Church have wreaked havoc at Senate Hearings, through propaganda, voter fraud, and even by protesting Military funerals. Granted Pelosi has had her run-ins with Code Pink, WBC hates everyone, and well Moveon.org and ACORN are a different story; but she has never characterized these individuals as Un-American. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.codepinkalert.org/"&gt;Code Pink&lt;/a&gt; - would like for us to think they are a group of peace loving women that wear pink. The reality is this organization is full of CRAZIES! Check out a few of their stunts: Code Pink being removed from a &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VR3RlFDkGt8"&gt;Gonzales hearing&lt;/a&gt;, with bloody hands coming toward then &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Va7zZbUQZG0"&gt;Secretary of State Condi Rice&lt;/a&gt;, and sleepover protest at &lt;a href="http://zombietime.com/sympathy_for_pelosi/"&gt;Pelosi's home&lt;/a&gt;. Pelosi was mad about the sleepover, but not once did she say they were Un-American. Why didn't she? Because they are LIBERALS! Contrary to her statement -"You're not my constituents" they really are - that is what votes for her. If you can find a link where Pelosi is referring to Code Pink as Un-American - let me know because I couldn't. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.moveon.org/"&gt;Moveon.org&lt;/a&gt; - would like Americans to believe they are a non-profit group that stands by the motto "Democracy in Motion". The reality is this non-profit is a propaganda spreading, liberal, George Soros funded machine. What have they been up to lately? &lt;a href="https://pol.moveon.org/donate/august.html?rc=homepage"&gt;Raising money to fight right wing extremist&lt;/a&gt;, and attacking &lt;a href="http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2009/07/moveon-launches-antipalin-ad.html"&gt;Sarah Palin&lt;/a&gt;. On to George Soros. He is one of the wealthiest men in the world.  Some politicians are merely puppets for a cash cow in the back room. Enter stage left, liberal cash cow - George Soros. It is estimated that he spent $26 million of his own money in an effort to defeat Bush. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.acorn.org/"&gt;ACORN&lt;/a&gt; - Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. Blah, blah, blah. Their mission statement should be: &lt;em&gt;An Organization that aims to spend millions of taxpayer dollars registering all the Disney characters before the next election. Our hope for equality includes the destruction of our current society&lt;/em&gt;. I think that's fitting. Glad to see &lt;a href="http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2009/may/04/criminal-charges-filed-against-acorn-two-employees/"&gt;Criminal Charges&lt;/a&gt; against some of the Acorn workers.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.godhatesfags.com/"&gt;Westboro Baptist Church&lt;/a&gt;- would like to be considered a Church. This group disgusts and scares me. What this group does to undermine the Christian faith should make all Christians furious. When you protest the funeral of a fallen Military hero then you have crossed the line. These aren't simple protests. The WBC members ruin what should be the final goodbyes these families deserve. Isn't it ironic, WBC protests the deaths of those that sustain their right to protest. Check out the &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DZbix25Oy0"&gt;motorcycle ministry &lt;/a&gt;that is protesting back! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As Speaker of the House, Pelosi should understand that even if Americans are expressing views that don't align with her Liberal agenda they are simply exercising one of the greatest gifts we have. Instead of calling those protesters Un-American, she should have praised their passion and looked past her politic affiliation. In order to progress, first you have to know where you've been.&lt;br /&gt;Democracy didn't just happen. The first Colonists risked everything for freedom. There's something to be said for struggle. The grit and determination it takes to reach your goal brings satisfaction and pride for what you've achieved.&lt;br /&gt;I feel a connection to the American Colonist. The frustrations they must have felt every time British law was imposed upon them. A clear disconnect can be seen between the Colonist and the British Parliament. Just like the disconnect many Americans currently feel towards our government.&lt;br /&gt;Before the current Tea Party protests, I reflected little on the Boston Tea Party.  What a sight that must have been! Colonists, real Patriots, climbing aboard ships and dumping the taxed tea into the Harbor. Screaming crowds, the sound of gun fire, and the aroma of tea in the air. A brewing Revolution. That brewing Revolution is why America is that 'shining city on the hill' that so many want to be part of. &lt;br /&gt;Fast forward to 2009. Democracy, and the freedom it secures, nurtured the richest Country this world has ever seen. A Capitalistic Free Market, competition based structure led to the economic sustainment of the US and World economies.  A powerful Military continues to honor and protect our freedoms while delivering others to theirs. Clearly democracy, freedom, and capitalism work, and, under a limited government, flourish. &lt;br /&gt;What is the thought process behind moving away from this Democracy towards Socialism? &lt;br /&gt;There are two groups of thought. The first are individuals that actually feel the Government serves the needs of its people with greater efficiency than relying on individual achievement. Those people look toward higher taxation, larger governmental programs, and establishing what they deem 'fairness' for all. This group feels as strongly toward these ideals as I do toward the opposite. Yes, they have that right. Well meaning people, but misguided in their views.&lt;br /&gt;The second group is simply exercising social warfare in order to achieve power. The interest of the American people lays by the wayside as they pit lower, middle, and upper socioeconomic classes against each other.  This will restructure America into 2 groups - the even poorer and the people who support the poor.  A middle class will no longer exist because it has been stretched to thin. Great quote, but I am sick to death of hearing it. Liberals continue to use it as justification for Healthcare reform. "We should just try it" or "You'll never know till you try". What reasoning! On second thought, maybe Conservatives should use that reasoning.&lt;br /&gt;Healthcare reform perplexes me, frustrates me, and confuses me. Look at any Government ran program and tell me that it runs efficiently. Look at Medicare, Social Security, and don't forget the state ran programs in &lt;a href="http://healthinsurance.alabama.gov/statewide_lowcost.htm"&gt;Alabama&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/medi-cal/Pages/default.aspx"&gt;California&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.healthinsurance.org/georgia"&gt;Georgia&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.ins.state.ny.us/website2/hny/english/hnyfqsp.htm"&gt;New York&lt;/a&gt; (just to name a few). All are funded by the government or State, and designed for children, 65+ individuals, the disabled, and lower income Americans. A simple Google search provides links to multiple free or cheap coverage plans for Americans (not ILLEGAL immigrants - go back to your country and rape and pillage it).&lt;br /&gt;Why do Liberals want to create yet another government or state owned program? By using Liberal reasoning - Haven't we tried it? And clearly it isn't working. So why try it again? Isn't that pure INSANITY.&lt;br /&gt;So let's CHANGE! Educate Americans on the programs we do have. Educate children on obesity, diabetes, cancer, AIDS, diet, exercise, and just general medical care. Really look at cutting the cost of Healthcare. Look into preventative care not reactionary care. The insults were just words and considering the source I am not offended, but the link he used to justify his claim left me utterly speechless. Being a "C" word sucks. Conservatism, for a lack of a better expression, just isn't cool anymore. If you are conservative then you fall into 2 groups. 1- Old White Men (OWM) 2-Wacky Christian Extremists (WCE) that believe everyone is hell bound-especially gay people -everyone knows how Christians hate the gays. I mean, really. This is our brand.&lt;br /&gt;BHO being elected with the support of a Liberal controlled House &amp;amp; Senate is the best thing that could have ever happened to Conservatives. We were acting like an undefeated sports team going into the finals. Cocky, ill-prepared, expecting victory, blah, blah. Losing big is good for teams - it makes you wake up!&lt;br /&gt;McCain's loss is turning into an overall gain. Independants are having their eyes opened. A movement is brewing: Tea Parties, Smart Girl Politics, 09.12.09 March on Washington, Freedom Works Foundation, Campaign for Liberty, and countless others! First up, Charlie Gibson who thought he hit a home run with the Bush Doctrine gotcha question, but in reality he hit a long foul ball. &lt;a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/09/12/AR2008091202457.html?nav=rss_opinion/columns"&gt;Charles Krauthammer&lt;/a&gt; coined the term Bush Doctrine in 2001, and is taking great pride in pointing out that, while Gibson was postulating his definition of the Bush Doctrine to Palin in his ever so patronizing tone, Gibson himself was wrong, too. Yes! A simple text message that was in response to the announcement of Sarah Palin's nomination to the VP spot on the McCain ticket--it was love at first site.  &lt;br /&gt;Friday, August 29th started out as any other Friday: I take a bath (I hate showers) then sit on the couch in my robe with wet hair to put on make-up and watch Fox News. Yes it is my “ritual”, but aren't most morning routines? This morning a name rarely mentioned was all I heard - Sarah Palin, Governor of the great state of Alaska. Over and over I heard her name. Then confirmation came from the McCain camp--the Republican pick for VP was a woman! I changed the channel to MSNBC and CNN both Liberal controlled media outlets with clear surprise in their voices confirming Sarah Palin is the VP pick for Republicans. Like most, I knew nothing about Palin, but as I sat there glued to the TV, pride swelled in me at the thought of a strong conservative woman being the VP of the US. &lt;br /&gt;McCain had in essence flipped off the Liberal establishment. &lt;br /&gt;The night before, the Democratic elite media and the newly crowned savior of the liberal party stood in their version of the roman coliseum as McCain made the decision that would soon overshadow any speech. Obama, a gifted orator, was accepting the torch passed from the former Clinton party to the youthful change inspired Obama party.  The entire experience was a narcissistic dream. A coliseum, hailed as one of the finest feats in Roman architecture, filled to capacity with doting subjects, and, standing in the center spewing his lukewarm message, a man running for the highest office in the land. The entire spectacle was designed to catapult Obama in the polls and undermine the upcoming GOP convention. Little did anyone know what was about to happen! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A speech compared to the Gettysburg Address in importance in our Nation’s history did not hold a candle to the introduction of Sarah Palin. Not one media outlet focused on what had happened in Denver; instead, they scrambled to send producers and reporters to Alaska. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sarah Palin is what the Republican Party and, quite frankly, what America needs.  She is a fiery Alaskan woman that is not a typical politician. Sarah Palin is an entrepreneur, former union member, wife, mother, and PTA member that rose to the rank of Governor who is now in line to become the 2nd in command.  Wow! Now that is the American Dream.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;MFP is a phrase that symbolizes the rebirth of the Republican Party. Hopefully conservatives will embrace this mentality and flip off the politicians, the liberal media and those folks that want to redistribute wealth, raise taxes on Corporations, reinstate the death tax, socialize our country, reduce our military and continue to carry this great nation farther away from the principles it was founded upon. So post away, agree, or disagree- get mad and write about it!
